Becky Lynch will have Trish Stratus all to herself when The Man comes around to take on the WWE Hall of Famer in a Steel Cage showdown at WWE Payback.

Following a controversial loss to Trish Stratus at WWE Night of Champions, Lynch went on a warpath for vindication. After a series of brawls and a victory over Zoey Stark, The Man eventually earned a highly anticipated rematch against her bitter adversary on Raw. Despite having Trish Status’ protégé barred from ringside for the contest, the meddlesome Superstar still interfered with a vicious sneak attack on Big Time Becks.

As a result of the continued interference, WWE Official Adam Pearce decided Lynch will take on Trish Status inside the unforgiving Steel Cage where all issues can finally be settled one-on-one.

The fierce competition is underway to see who will qualify for the 2023 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, where a select group of elite Superstars will fight through the chaos of a life-changing showdown in the hope of climbing the ladder and seizing the prized contract that guarantees a future Women’s Title Match.

On the June 2 edition of SmackDown, The LWO’s Zelina Vega overcame Lacey Evans in a hard-fought matchup to lay claim to the first spot in the high-stakes match. Becky Lynch was the next to punch her ticket with a win over Sonya Deville on the following Raw, and Zoey Stark joined her with an impressive victory over Natalya.

On the June 9 episode of SmackDown, Damage CTRL’s Bayley and IYO SKY joined the fray after overcoming Michin and Shotzi, respectively.

After Zoey Stark interfered with Raquel Rodriguez match against WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus on the June 19 edition of Raw, Becky Lynch emerged to take out Stark at ringside. When Trish Stratus got involved in the scuffle, though, The Man attacked her as well and inadvertently gave her adversary the win by disqualification. With the victory, Trish Stratus qualified for Money in the Bank Ladder Match..

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus looks to punch her ticket to her first-ever Money in the Bank Ladder Match by taking on Raquel Rodriguez Monday on Raw.

Since betraying Becky Lynch and Lita a couple of months ago, Stratus has been on a mission to gain respect as a legend and will look to cement it by defeating Rodriguez en route to becoming Ms. Money in the Bank, July 1 in London.

Stratus has also aligned with the bruising Zoey Stark who has already qualified for the match, making them one of the most dangerous duos on the red brand.

Rodriguez, meanwhile, is attempting to regain some momentum after having to relinquish the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships due to Liv Morgan’s injury.
