Megan is with Trish in the locker room and she asks her about the match. Trish says she is looking to prove something but she is here to show all of the people that you can evolve. If she can inspire one person to try harder or silence someone’s doubts, she has succeeded. She says Tiffy Time will be over tonight.

WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Trish Stratus

They lock up and Tiffany with a clean break and she poses. They lock up and Trish with a side head lock and take down. Stratton with a head scissors and Trish escapes and returns to the side head lock. Trish with a wrist lock and Stratton with a reversal. Trish uses the ropes to escape. Stratton goes for an Alabama Slam but Trish with a head scissors take down and she bows. Stratton slaps Trish and Trish slaps back. Trish with a knee and Stratton with a drop kick. Stratton with a running hip against the ropes for a near fall. Stratton with a suplex. Stratton with another suplex and she rolls to the apron and holds on. Trish blocks a gourdbuster on the apron and Trish with a handstandcanrana to send Stratton to the floor.

Trish sends Stratton into the ringside barrier. Trish with a spine buster for a near fall. Trish with forearms and a Thesz Press. Trish with punches and Stratton pushes her off. Trish goes for a tornado DDT and hits it for a near fall. Trish with chops and she sets up Stratton for the lick slap but Stratton moves. They exchange forearms. Trish with a kick and Stratton kicks Trish into the corner. Stratton with a handspring back elbow into the corner followed by End of Heartache for a near fall. Stratton with a drop kick and she goes up top and hits a swanton for a near fall. They fight to the turnbuckles and Trish sets for a bulldog off the turnbuckles but Stratton pushes Trish to the mat. Trish with a handstandcanrana on the turnbuckles followed by a round kick for a near fall.

Trish sets for Stratusfaction but Stratton escapes. Stratton with a Finlay Slam and Prettiest Moonsault Ever but Trish gets her knees up. Trish with Stratusfaction for a near fall. Trish goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault and Stratton gets her knees up. Stratton with a cartwheel into an Alabama Slam and Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the three count.

Winner: Tiffany Stratton

After the match, the crowd gives Trish an ovation.

Wade Barrett is in the ring with Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus. Wade asks Tiffany what made her choose Trish as her opponent for Evolution.

Tiffany says she already beat Charlotte, Nia, and Bayley so why not face one of the best. Tiffany says when she beats Trish maybe she will be considered one of the GOATs.

Wade asks Trish if there is any pressure on her going into Evolution. Trish says Tiffany should be feeling the pressure. You need to beat her to be considered one of the greatest of all time. Trish says she already is. She will leave with the title and you will leave with nothing. Trish says she will deliver Stratusfaction.

Tiffany says she will let Trish live out her glory days, but it is called Evolution for a reason. Tiffany says she has seen the VHS tapes of Trish.

Trish says she helped build this division and help solidify this division. She continues to deliver for this division. She says Tiffany is doing a great job as champion, but Trish says she will become an eight time champion.

Naomi makes her way to the stage with her briefcase. Naomi reminds that it don’t matter… Jade Cargill attacks Naomi from behind. They are held back by security and they do their usual fabulous jobs

A dream match will take place at WWE Evolution when Tiffany Stratton defends the WWE Women’s Championship against WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

On the July 4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Stratton was confronted by her potential SummerSlam opponent Jade Cargill, but Trish Stratus appeared and requested that the champion face her at Evolution instead.

Not one to back down from a challenge, Stratton agreed to the match and set the stage for one of the biggest and most anticipated matches of the year.

In the Arena:

Tiffany Stratton makes her way to the ring and asks what time is it. She says since becoming champion, there has been a target on her back. Nia Jax’s revenge was not going to keep her from being the Last Woman Standing. She says she will face Jade Cargill at SummerSlam. Tiffany says she will also defend her title at Evolution. Since Iyo Sky got to pick her opponent, Tiffany gets to pick her opponent.

Jade Cargill makes her way to the ring and she has her crown.

Jade says Tiffany looked like a champion beating Nia and she gives her respect. She says Tiffany was barely standing while Jade was standing tall as Queen of the Ring. She tells Tiffany if she chooses wrong, you won’t be at SummerSlam. She says it doesn’t matter who she faces, she is coming out with the title.

Tiffany says she has a surprise for everyone and here comes Trish Stratus.

Tiffany says she invited Trish because they teamed at Elimination Chamber and she thought what would Evolution be without Stratusfaction. She offers Trish the title match at Evolution.

Jade says if Tiffany wants to choose Trish, it doesn’t matter if it is you or a legend at SummerSlam.

Trish says she did not expect that. Trish thanks Tiffany and she says Evolution means so much for her. They used to have to fight for a single match on the card. Now, they have an entire card of incredibly talented women. She says careers are made of moments and you gave me one by letting me wrestle in front of my kids. Trish says her kids have never seen her as champion. It has a good ring to be an eight time champion.

Tiffany says she wants to make one thing clear. This won’t be easy because this isn’t the Attitude Era. Trish says she wants it to be a fight because she has evolved. Tiffany says they will both find out that WWE runs on Tiffy Time.

Backstage:

Trish walks in the hallway. Jade stops Trish and Jade mentions that it appears that Trish has a title match at Evolution and she likes that. Jade says if Trish wins, she will be seeing her. Trish says she will see her at SummerSlam.

Naomi attacks Jade from behind with the briefcase. Naomi tells Jade she should have proceeded with caution and she laughs maniacally before leaving. Nick shows up to check on Jade and Jade tells Nick to give her Naomi.

Trish and Candice start things off and Trish with a Thesz Press and she punches Candice. Nia tries to get involved and Tiffany with a forearm. They hit a double drop kick to send Nia to the floor. Trish with a neck breaker for a near fall. Tiffany tags in and Nia pulls Trish to the floor. Tiffany with a forearm off the ring steps to Nia. Candice with a baseball slide to Tiffany and Candice sends Tiffany shoulder first into the ring steps. Candice with forearms to the back. Candice sends Tiffany into the turnbuckles. Nia tags in and Candice Irish whips Tiffany into the corner for a seated splash to Tiffany. Nia pushes Tiffany to the mat. Nia with a Cobra Clutch. Tiffany wtih a jaw breaker and she gets her boot up for Nia. Candice pulls Tiffany down and Nia goes to the turnbuckles but Tiffany pulls Nia off the turnbuckles to the mat.

Trish tags in and she punches Nia and then chops her. Trish with a chop in the corner followed by a kick and a round kick to the temple. Trish with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Trish with a spinebuster to Candice and then she sets for StratusFaction against Nia but Nia blocks it and hits a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Nia taunts Trish and then applies a waist lock and swings her around before sending Trish to the mat. Nia with a Stretch Muffler and she picks Trish off the mat. Candice tags in and Nia swings Trish into the turnbuckles and Candice with a drop kick for a near fall. Candice with a rear chin lock and she slams Trish’s face into the mat. Candice with a double wrist lock.

Trish with forearms but Candice gets a near fall. Candice with a suplex for a near fall. Nia tags in when Candice pulls Trish into the corner. Nia puts Trish against the turnbuckles and Nia with a running hip and she gives the back of Trish’s head a stinkface. Candice tags in and she chokes Trish. Trish with punches but Candice runs Trish back into the corner. Candice knocks Tiffany off the apron and then both go down when they try for flying hair take downs. Tiffany tags in and she connects with clotheslines and a running shoulder tackle. Tiffany with a handspring back elbow to Candice. Tiffany knocks Nia off the apron. Tiffany with a double leg take down and she rolls through for an Albama Slam on Candice. She gives Nia a spinebuster and follows with a double stomp to both for a near fall on Candice.

Tiffany goes up for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever but Candice hits Tiffany on the turnbuckles and Tiffany lands awkwardly. Nia tags in and hits a leg drop for a near fall. Candice tags in and she goes to the turnbuckles. Tiffany pushes Nia into Candice and Tiffany with a belly-to-back suplex to Nia. Trish tags in and runs into an elbow. Trish with a handstandcanrana for a near fall. Nia with a clothesline to Tiffany. Nia pulls Candice into her corner to make the tag. Nia grabs Trish and puts her in the corner. Nia goes to the turnbuckles but Trish with a kick and Trish goes up top for a bulldog off the turnbuckles for a near fall when Candice tries to break up the cover and she hits Nia. Tiffany tags in and she sends Candice over the top rope to the floor. Tiffany goes up top for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the three count.

We are live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as Trish Stratus makes her way to the ring to start the show, wearing a Maple Leafs jersey.

Trish starts off by asking if it is the jersey. She thanks Lillian for the introduction. Trish wonders what year it is. Lillian Garcia is introducing her, The Rock is involved in things, and she is wrestling. Trish says she couldn’t think of a better place than her home town of Toronto. Trish says she loves the generational impact that wrestling has. She mentions a little girl and she mentions that her dad probably had a poster of her when he was the child’s age. Trish says when she wrestles at the Rogers Centre, it will be the first time that her kids will see her wrestle live. To be back here celebrating 25 years and mix it up with the next generation of talent is a great thing. She says she is beyond excited to team with someone who is taking the women’s division by storm. Trish brings out Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany comes out in her own Maple Leafs jersey.

Trish asks what time is it and and Tiffany and Trish say it is Trishy Time and Tiffy Time. Trish says she wants to show some love with the custom made jerseys and tthey toss them into the crowd. Tiffany says they are in sync. Trish says they have been training together and doing yoga together. Tiffany says that is why they are going to beat Nia and Candice tomorrow. Representing the western part of the country, Chelsea Green comes out with her Mountie Piper Niven.

Green says she deserves the air time because she is the US Champion. She says much like Auston Matthews, she is the best thing to step in the arena tonight. Unlike Auston, she wins. Green says the minute that she left this dump, everything was better for her. She became US champion and she is honored to represent the people of America. She says the people are better in America. Tiffany says she is from America and she says that Green does not represent her.

Green says she does not represent losers and it is not tacky time. She says she does not need to have her mom dress her. Tiffany suggests a match tonight. Green says she has plans. Trish says it sounds like a great idea. She says maybe Nick Aldis should send out a referee if he likes the idea. Green tells Nicholas not to do it and a referee comes to the ring. We go to commercial.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Chelsea Green

The match is joined in progress and Tiffany counters with an inside package for a near fall. Green gets a near fall. Green with a rear chin lock. Tiffany with a snap mare and then Green grabs Tiffany by the hair. Tiffany with a belly-to-back suplex. Tiffany with forearms and clotheslines. Tiffany with a handspring back elbow into the corner. Tiffany with a spinebuster for a near fall. Tiffany sets for an Alabama Slam but Green counters with a sunset flip for a near afll. Green with a Rough Ryder for a near fall. Green sets for UnprettiHER but Tiffany escaps and Tiffany with a Finlay Slam and a double stomp. Piper pulls Green to the floor to avoid a Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Trish attacks Piper and Tiffany with a swanton onto Green and Piper. Tiffany sends Green back into the ring but Nia and Candice attacks Trish. Tiffany pulls Nia to the floor and sends her over the announce table.

Winner: Tiffany Stratton (by disqualification)

After the match, Candice sends Trish face first into the mat. Candice chokes Trish and Nia goes to the turnbuckles for aNIAlator but Tiffany stops her. Nia with a head butt to Tiffany and she pulls Tiffany into the corner. Trish makes the save and Tiffany sends Trish into Nia and then TIffany with a drop kick to Candice. Candice is pulled to the floor by Nia.

In the Arena: Tiffany Stratton makes her way to the ring. She says you all know it. Ever since she won this title, everyone has been so obsessed with her. Last week, she had Nia Jax beat . . . until Candice LeRae decided to interfere. At Elimination Chamber, her and Trish Stratus will make sure the undeniable force are stopped.

Tiffany says she wants to talk about Charlotte Flair. She took her sweet old time, grabbed a chair, and grabbed a mic. Charlotte looked down on her and chose her to be her opponent at Wrestlemnia. Tiffany says her dreams came true. No one likes to kick a girl when she is down more than Charlotte. Tiffany says she is there to take the spot that Charlotte wants as the number one girl in WWE. Nia Jax comes and says it is cute that Tiffany thought she would win last week. Candice says that Tiffany wouldn’t be standing there if it wasn’t for Trish Stratus. Nia says Tiffany won’t even see Wrestlemania. After they destroy her at Elimination Chamber, she is coming back for her title. You won’t see the grandest stage of them all.

Tiffany tells Nia to give it up. It isn’t your title any more. After she beats Candice, Nia won’t have anyone to do her dirty work. Candice says they are impatient and Nia says they should take her out now. Tiffany Stratton vs. Candice LeRae The match is joined in progress and Candice with a wrist lock. Tiffany goes to the turnbuckles for a wrist lock take down and drop kick.

Charlotte Flair’s music plays and everything stops so she can walk to the ring at her own casual pace. Tiffany misses a handspring back elbow into the corner and Candice gets a near fall. Candice with a top wrist lock. Tiffany gets to the ropes and Candice with a few forearms. Tiffany sends Candice into the ropes and hits a running hip strike for a near fall. Candice with a clothesline for a near fall. Candice with a knee drop tot he arm. Candice with an arm bar. Tiffany goes for an Alabama Slam but Candice with a sunset flip but Tiffany gets a near fall. Candice rolls to the floor and Tiffany follows. Tiffany goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault to the floor and she pays tribute to Charlotte as she ‘hits’ Nia and Candice.

Candice returns to the ring and Tiffany kicks her before Candice goes back to the floor. Tiffany kicks Candice on the apron but Candice with a kick and a neck breaker in the ropes. Candice goes up top and she hits a missile drop kick for a near fall. Tiffany with a forearm and a rollup for a near fall. Candice with a back elbow and she gets a near fall but Tiffany with a crucifix for a near fall. Candice punches Tiffany. Candice pie faces Tiffany and kicks her. Tiffany gets a near fall with a rollup. Candice with a forearm and she gets a near fall. Candice puts Tiffany in the corner and she connects with a running forearm. Candice misses a forearm in the corner and Tiffany with clotheslines. Tiffany with a handspring back elbow and a sit out spinebuster for a near fall.

Candice sends Tiffany to the apron and Tiffany sends Candice into the turnbuckles. Tiffany goes up top and Candice stops her. Candice sets for a superplex but Tiffany pushes Candice off the turnbuckles. Tiffany misses a swanton and Candice with a crucifix for a near fall. Candice with a step up back senton but she misses a quebrada. Tiffany with a Finlay Slam but Nia pulls Candice to the floor. Tiffany with a carthweel on the apron to avoid Nia. Tiffany with a drop kick to Nia and an Alabama Slam to Candice against the ringside barrier. Tiffany stops to go face to face with Charlotte. Tiffany with Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the three count

After the match, Nia attacks Tiffany. NIa goes to the turnbuckles but . . . Trish Stratus’ music plays and Nia stands on the turnbuckles until Trish takes her off. Trish with a Thesz Press to Candice. Trish with forearms to Nia and Candice comes from behind. Nia hits Tiffany and then she pulls Trish and Tiffany into the corner and Nia with a gingerly placed aNIAlator. Charlotte enters the ring and then turns to point to the Wrestlemania sign. Charlotte leaves the ring without any rope assistance.
