As they make their entrances, we see NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton standing in the crowd with her belt.

As the bell rings to commence the match, a tense standoff unfolds.

Trish initially attempts to make a quick escape by heading towards the door, but Becky is quick to intercept her, preventing her exit. The action intensifies as Trish avoids Becky’s potentially devastating Manhandle Slam. Instead, Trish opts to make her way towards the ropes, attempting to climb out of the cage. Becky, however, halts her progress by grabbing hold of her.

In retaliation, Trish delivers a well-placed punch to Becky. Becky counters with a barrage of forearm strikes before sending Trish crashing into the turnbuckles. The Irish Lass Kicker follows it up with a series of punishing chops. Becky then skillfully blocks a kick from Trish and proceeds to execute not one, not two, but three exploder suplexes, showcasing her dominance.

Becky’s intentions become clear as she tries to propel Trish headfirst into the steel cage. Trish puts up a fight, preventing herself from making contact with the cold, unforgiving structure. Instead, Trish turns the tables, sending Becky into the mat and delivering a well-placed kick.

With both competitors showing their determination, Trish seizes the opportunity to start climbing the cage, looking to secure victory by escaping. Becky, however, is relentless and joins Trish on the top rope. In a high-stakes battle at the summit of the cage, Becky unleashes a flurry of punches, ultimately knocking Trish off the ropes.

The battle inside the Steel Cage Match rages on as Trish Stratus takes control, strategically using the cage to her advantage. She stretches Becky Lynch in the ropes, subjecting her opponent to excruciating pressure. Trish then delivers a powerful kick, sending Becky crashing into the steel cage. In a ruthless move, Trish pushes Becky’s face against the unforgiving steel, adding to her opponent’s torment.

Trish continues her offensive onslaught by sending Becky into the steel cage once more. She ruthlessly fish hooks Becky and forces her opponent to endure yet another collision with the steel. Trish takes a moment to revel in her dominance before returning to target Becky. A well-placed kick and a face slam into the mat further cement Trish’s control over the match.

Trish doesn’t hesitate to utilize the cage to her advantage, choking Becky against the ropes. However, Becky summons her resilience, sending Trish into the cage multiple times and then delivering a series of brutal lawn dart throws. Becky manages to secure a near fall as she gains momentum.

Becky makes a move to apply her signature DisArmHer submission hold, but Trish strategically prevents it from being locked in properly. Trish inches closer to the door, seemingly with her escape in mind. Still, she makes sure to send Becky into the steel cage a few more times.

Trish attempts a Matrix-like move, but it backfires as Becky counters with a punishing leg drop when Trish holds on to the bridge for too long.

The Steel Cage Match between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus reaches a pivotal moment as both competitors unleash a flurry of strikes. Becky starts with a forearm, but Trish responds with one of her own. They engage in a fierce back-and-forth exchange, with neither woman willing to yield. However, Becky gains the upper hand with a sharp European uppercut followed by a well-executed back heel kick.

Trish begins to climb over Becky, making her way to the top of the cage. With the audience holding their breath, Trish delivers a well-placed kick that sends Becky crashing to the mat. But Becky’s determination knows no bounds, as she swiftly grabs Trish off the top of the cage, hoists her onto her shoulders, and executes a breathtaking power bomb.

The intensity inside the Steel Cage Match escalates as both Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus refuse to back down. Trish uses sharp elbows to thwart Becky’s attempts at executing her devastating Manhandle Slam. A well-placed kick by Trish is followed by her signature Widow’s Peak maneuver, leading to a near fall as the match’s suspense builds.

Trish continues to assert her dominance by slamming Becky’s head into the mat repeatedly, displaying her determination to secure victory. Trish then sets up for her iconic Stratusfaction maneuver, but Becky manages to elude her grasp and counters with a Twist of Fate. The dramatic exchange results in a near fall for Becky.

But Becky seizes the opportunity to pull Trish back onto the top of the cage. The precarious situation intensifies as Trish is caught in the cage’s structure, hanging from the top.

Becky grabs hold of Trish, pulling her into a vertical position while still atop the cage. The drama reaches its peak as Becky sets up for a superplex, executing the high-impact move and sending Trish crashing down into the ring. But it is only a two count.

Zoey Starks, who has been closely watching the match, intervenes by pulling Trish towards the exit door. Becky and Zoey engage in a tense tug-of-war with Trish caught in the middle. Ultimately, Becky successfully pulls Trish back into the ring, but Zoey retaliates by slamming the door into Becky’s face. Trish seizes this opportunity to roll up Becky for a near fall.

Becky remains undeterred, avoiding Trish’s Chick Kick and countering with her signature Manhandle Slam. However, Zoey once again intervenes, breaking up the pinfall attempt and ensuring the match’s thrilling conclusion. Zoey attempts to pull Trish towards the exit door, but Becky swiftly closes it, preventing Trish from escaping.

Becky Lynch and Zoey Starks engage in a fierce exchange of punches, with each competitor refusing to back down. Zoey gains the upper hand with a well-executed clothesline, briefly turning the tide in her favor.

Trish Stratus seizes the opportunity to climb the cage, inching closer to a potential escape. In a display of her incredible strength and agility, Becky Lynch delivers a devastating Manhandle Slam to Zoey, leaving her opponent stunned in the center of the ring.

Becky then turns her attention to Trish, preventing her from making her way over the top of the cage. In a brutal sequence, Becky slams Trish’s head into the steel cage and then executes a Super Manhandle Slam that shakes the ring to its core. The referee counts to three, signaling the end of this thrilling Steel Cage Match.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch celebrates and heads to the back. Zoey Stark helps Trish Stratus up. Trish gets up and pulls her arm away from Stark. She slaps Stark and tells her to get out.

Stark slams the cage door shut instead of leaving and turns back. She hoists Trish up and hits her with the Z-360. She takes her “Thank you, Trish!” shirt off and throws it on Trish’s fallen body.

Backstage:

Jackie Redmond is in the back with Becky Lynch. Becky is asked about her match against Trish and if she has any second thoughts about tonight’s match. Becky says she has been thinking about whooping Zoey around this arena. Is this the easy way out? Does she want the easy way out? No. She says she is going to bring a lot of chaos.

Backstage:

Trish Stratus is in the back and she tells Becky she is the idiot who asked for this match. You are giving Zoey Stark free reign to do anything she wants. Trish mentions their match on Saturday. Zoey says when she is done with Becky, she will leave enough for Trish to have in the steel cage match.

We go to commercial.

– Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark (w/ Trish Stratus)

As the match begins, Becky retrieves a kendo stick from under the ring. She uses the kendo stick to strike Zoey a few times. Becky follows up with a White Russian Leg Sweep, leading to a near fall. Zoey rolls out of the ring, and Becky kicks her and delivers a forearm. Trish also employs the kendo stick, hitting Becky several times. Zoey attempts a powerbomb, but Becky manages to get to the apron and kick Zoey. Becky then punches Trish off the apron and performs a cross body onto both Zoey and Trish for a near fall. Becky proceeds to send Zoey into the ringside barrier. However, Zoey responds by hitting Becky with the kendo stick while Becky searches under the ring. Zoey then throws Becky into the ring steps, resulting in another near fall.

Back in the ring, Becky kicks Zoey while she’s caught in the ropes and connects with uppercuts. Zoey counters with a springboard dropkick for a near fall. Zoey instructs Trish to retrieve a chair from under the ring, but Trish accidentally hits Zoey with the chair. Becky rolls Zoey up for a near fall. Trish throws chairs into the ring without causing harm this time. Zoey delivers a kick to Becky and places her on the turnbuckles, attempting a superplex. However, Becky manages to knock Zoey off the turnbuckles. Afterward, Becky executes a leg drop on Zoey, nearly securing a pinfall.

Becky then tries to apply DisArmHer, but Zoey escapes and sends Becky into the chairs. Becky prevents Zoey from executing Z360 and responds with a uranage for a near fall. Becky chases Trish around the ring, while Trish eventually grabs a kendo stick. Becky blocks Trish’s attempt and kicks her, hitting her with the kendo stick multiple times. Trish retreats to the back as Becky continues her attack. Meanwhile, Zoey hits Becky with a chair a few times, earning a near fall as the match heads into a commercial break.

As the action continues, Becky sends Zoey over the ringside barrier and into the ringside area. Becky follows up with a forearm strike off the ringside barrier. She then executes an exploder suplex into the ringside barrier, resulting in a near fall. Becky directs her attention to the area under the ring, signaling to the crowd that she’s planning to retrieve a table. Despite her intentions, Zoey kicks Becky, causing the table to be pushed aside. Zoey sends Becky back into the ring and drops her onto the top rope. Zoey uses a chair to strike Becky in the back before proceeding with her offense.

Zoey places a chair on top of Becky and climbs to the apron for a springboard twisting senton onto Becky and the chair. This move nearly results in a pinfall for Zoey. Subsequently, Zoey pulls Becky into a pile of chairs and adds one on top of her as well.

Zoey climbs the turnbuckles, but Becky strikes her with a kendo stick. Becky then positions herself for a superplex onto the chairs and executes it, leading to a near fall. Zoey rolls to the outside of the ring. Becky proceeds to remove the hood of the announce table and reorganizes the setup. She attempts a uranage on the table, but Zoey counters with elbows and Trish interferes by tripping Becky. Zoey seizes the opportunity to deliver a sliding kick to Becky on the announce table, earning a near fall.

As the action continues, Zoey kicks Becky and heads to the ringside barrier. However, Becky retaliates by pushing Zoey off the barrier. Becky sends Trish over the announce table and starts setting up for a uranage on the storage cases. Trish intervenes once again, executing a bulldog off the table. Trish calls on Zoey to make the cover, and while Trish pulls Zoey over to Becky, the pinfall attempt only results in a near fall.

Trish and Zoey engage in a forearm exchange and make their way towards the storage cases, continuing their brawl. Meanwhile, Becky shoves Zoey to the outside of the ring. Becky delivers a kick to Zoey, who manages to counter Becky’s uranage attempt. However, Zoey inadvertently knocks Trish off, causing Trish to crash through a table. Capitalizing on the situation, Becky successfully executes a uranage through a table to secure the three-count victory.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch will have Trish Stratus all to herself when The Man comes around to take on the WWE Hall of Famer in a Steel Cage showdown at WWE Payback.

Following a controversial loss to Trish Stratus at WWE Night of Champions, Lynch went on a warpath for vindication. After a series of brawls and a victory over Zoey Stark, The Man eventually earned a highly anticipated rematch against her bitter adversary on Raw. Despite having Trish Status’ protégé barred from ringside for the contest, the meddlesome Superstar still interfered with a vicious sneak attack on Big Time Becks.

As a result of the continued interference, WWE Official Adam Pearce decided Lynch will take on Trish Status inside the unforgiving Steel Cage where all issues can finally be settled one-on-one.

We take a look back at what happened last week between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus. They meet in a steel cage at Payback.

In the Arena:

Becky says she has Trish Stratus in a steel cage at Payback. Over the last few months of this rivalry there has been talk about who is the best and the greatest. It comes down to legacy. What are you in control of and what are you not in control of. Can you turn those lemons into lemonade. Her legacy will not be defined by wins or championships, it will be defined by survival. You can beat her and put her on the shelf for months, but she will always come back. Not because she is unbeatable, but because she is unstoppable.

Becky says she is unstoppable not because she always wins, but because she always fights.

Her and Trish will go into a steel cage but there is some business left with Zoey Stark.

Trish Stratus’ music interrupts and she comes out with Zoey Stark.

Trish says they have been dealing with USA-holes so to be in her native country of Canada… Trish says she should be saying merci beau coup Quebec. She says she does not know how to say how it feels to be in Quebec City… because it means absolutely nothing. She says it isn’t like this is Montreal or Toronto. Trish points out that the Leafs made the playoffs. Trish says she wouldn’t be here if this sourpuss wasn’t running her mouth. She would have been like Trudeau and split.

Trish points out that she does not understand what the people are chanting.

Trish says she has some good news and some bad news for Becky. The good news is when she beats Becky, she will prove she is the greatest of all time. The bad news is that you trapped her in a steel cage. Trish says she has never fought in a steel cage before. Is she scared?

Becky says Trish looks scared.

Trish says she is scared. Was she scared at 24 when she was put in a WWE ring for the first time with no skill? Yeah, but she killed it. Was she scared being put in the main event of Raw? Yeah, but she killed it. Trish says that she has proven herself.

Trish asks what are the frogs doing and she does not understand the chants.

Trish says you want to talk about survival and legacy, here she is 23 years after standing face to face with one of the best in the business. She says she finds herself having to prove herself to Becky and everyone else. Trish says she is sick of proving herself. When you step in the cage, you will see a side of her that you have never seen before. You should be scared because you are not going to survive this one… bitch.

Becky sarcastically says she is so scared. Becky goes back to Zoey. Next week, it will be her and Zoey in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.

Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch II

It’s rematch time!

When The Miz and Byron Saxton finish up, we shoot back inside Canada Life Centre and out comes Canada’s own, WWE Hall of Fame legend Trish Stratus. She heads to the ring by herself, as it’s time for her highly-anticipated rematch against Becky Lynch.

Remember, Zoey Stark is banned from ringside for this bout. As Trish soaks in the crowd atmosphere in her home country, we shift gears and head into a quick pre-match commercial break.

As we settle back in from the break, we hear the familiar sounds of Becky Lynch’s theme music. Out comes “The Man” for some “Big Time Becks” action, as it’s time for the big Trish-Becky II showdown.

The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this one. The two collide like two p*ssed off hockey players duking it out with flailing shots. Becky takes over and put the boots to Trish in the corner. Trish headbutts Lynch with her face-protector on. She hits some big chops.

Lynch fights back with a Beck-Exploder suplex. Trish rolls out to the floor to re-group. Lynch catches her with a baseball slide dropkick and then launches through the ropes to splash on the WWE Hall of Fame legend at ringside. The two run around the ring and Trish catches Lynch off guard.

After dropping Lynch, Trish yanks Becky’s hair and slams her down to the floor before picking her back up and ramming her into the barricade. Lynch fights back and slams Trish face-first into the ring apron. The two head back in the ring and Trish dives right into a kick from Lynch.

Trish’s face cover comes off. The ref helps her put it back on. Trish goes for the Stratusphere in the corner but slips and botches it. She drills Lynch with some punches and then tries again, this time hitting it for a close near fall. She throws Becky out to the floor.

She slams her into the ring steps and poses for the crowd before rolling her back into the ring. She takes her face protector off and shows the camera that she is fine and doesn’t need it anymore.

She goes to use it as a weapon, which the commentators remind us happened in her previous Raw main event against Lita many moons ago, but this time it doesn’t work. Regardless, Trish continues beating Becky down as we shift gears and head into a mid-match commercial break.

When we return from the break, we see some back-and-forth action until finally things boil over with the two fighting outside of the ring and into the crowd as the referee ultimately counts them both out. Yup, a rematch promoted for about a month ends in a double count out. Don’t worry, we’ll probably be able to pay for it again in a couple weeks.

The two ignore the bell and keep fighting. The camera follows them as the brawl continues into the food stands with a hundred or so fans in the background watching as they throw each other into everything that is and isn’t nailed down inside the food concourse of the Canada Life Centre. Zoey Stark joins the mix and helps Trish attack Lynch.

Adam Pearce Makes Steel Cage Match Official

We shoot to another area backstage after we see highlights of the finish of the Trish and Becky bout moments ago. Adam Pearce comes in irate and confronts Trish and Zoey Stark. He assures them that won’t happen again because next time Trish and Becky meet, it’ll be inside a Steel Cage. Trish isn’t happy with this.

Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves run down the advertised lineup for tonight’s show and then we return inside Amalie Arena live where the familiar sounds of Becky Lynch’s theme hits and out comes “The Man” for our first match of the evening.

Becky Lynch goes one-on-one against Zoey Stark where if she wins, she gets the rematch she wants against Trish Stratus, but if she loses, she must get “Thank you, Trish” tattooed on herself. We head to a pre-match commercial break as Lynch settles in the ring.

When we return from the break, the commentators confirm Zayn-Dom for the NXT North American Championship for tonight’s main event. Lynch is shown waiting in the ring for the arrival of her opposition.

The theme for Zoey Stark hits and out she comes accompanied by WWE Hall of Fame legend Trish Stratus, who is still wearing her face protector. The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with our opening contest of the evening.

Lynch charges across the ring and puts the boots to a slumping Stark in the corner as the fans chant “Becky! Becky!” We see Stark roll out to the floor to re-group with Trish before heading back in and being decked right back out to the floor by Lynch, who follows out with a big baseball slide drop kick.

As the action continues on the floor, Lynch continues to dominate. Back in the ring, Stark hits a big shot that shifts the offensive momentum in her favor for the first tine in the bout. Stark hits a slingshot swirling splash onto Lynch for a close near fall attempt. After Lynch kicks out, we head to a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.

When we return from the break, we see Lynch in control until she is on the floor and Trish blasts her with a headbutt while wearing the face protector. Stark hits a super kick and goes for the cover but Lynch kicks out and ends up connecting with her Man Handle Slam moments later for the win. With the win, Becky gets the rematch she wants against Trish.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark

Back live, we hear the familiar sounds of the entrance theme music of Becky Lynch. “The Man” emerges to a big pop and heads down to the ring for our next match of the evening.

As “Big Time Becks” settles inside the squared circle, we head to a pre-match commercial break. When we return, we see Lynch in the ring awaiting the arrival of her opposition for this one-on-one match here on Raw.

On that note, the theme for Zoey Stark hits and out comes the newcomer to the scene for the women’s division on Raw, with WWE Hall of Fame Trish Stratus in a face-protector by her side. She settles in the ring and is ready to rock.

The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this one. The fans chant “Becky! Becky!” as the two lock-up and get after it. Stark out-powers Lynch, shoving her down to the mat off the initial lock-up. A loud “Let’s go Becky!” chant spreads throughout the arena as the two re-engage.

Lynch takes over on offense, but things don’t remain this way for long. Stark ends up taking back over and is punishing Lynch as we head to a mid-match commercial break.

When we return from the commercial time-out, we see Stark still very much dominating the action against Lynch in what has been essentially a one-sided contest thus far. Lynch starts to show signs of life, but just as she does, Stark connects with a huge side kick that nearly knocked Lynch unconscious.

From there, Becky starts to come to life again, but ends up taking her eye off the ball for just one moment. She turns her attention to Trish Stratus, hitting her with a drop-kick through the ropes but then turning around and being rolled-up by Stark for the pin fall.

Winner: Zoey Stark
